The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards is one of the most prestigious and recognised schemes in the world, with almost 2000 entries every year and a reach of over 7 million employees.
Pat Lawless, CEO of the EM&I Group, commented: "By any measure this has been a challenging year: big, complex, innovative projects with all the attendant risk. So, it is especially pleasing to receive this award – testimony to some strong safety leadership across the strata of project teams.
Following on from the recent IFAP Platinum Award in Australia, this award recognises the work done by EM&I globally. Everybody associated with EM&I, in our own offices and stores as well as onshore and offshore at client sites, strive to ensure our employees operate safely and in line with our established policies and procedures, allowing them to return home at the end of the day or shift in the same condition that they arrived.
It is increasingly important that we all pay particular attention to health and safety in these difficult times ensuring that it remains our top priority".
