Campbell Ure appointed management specialist

Exova, the global testing, calibration and advisory services provider, has appointed engineering business management specialist, Campbell Ure, as general manager of its Edinburgh and new Aberdeen laboratories.

Campbell brings a wealth of experience in delivering multi million pound projects and overseeing organisational change programmes in a number of challenging industries. In a career spanning more than 20 years he has held senior engineering management roles with Oceaneering Umbilical Solutions; Tarmac, Aston Martin and, most recently, Rolls Royce.

In his new role with Exova, Campbell will lead the operational teams working on Oil & Gas and Industrials testing in the company’s Edinburgh laboratory and its recently opened flagship Aberdeen facility. He will be responsible for operational delivery, commercial management and developing the provision of technically demanding services to Exova’s customers throughout the UK and Europe.
