Singapore-based Gardline CGG Pte Ltd., a joint venture between Gardline Geosurvey and CGG, recently announced that the company has been awarded the Rocket 2D Phase 1 multi-client marine broadband seismic survey offshore Western Australia by Norway's Spectrum ASA under a master service agreement signed in October 2014 between the two companies. M/V Duke will start acquisition next week on completion of its current workscope.
The multi-client project, named Rocket and encompassing up to 6213 line miles of 2D seismic, will be conducted in two phases between now and June. M/V Duke will complete the 2734 line miles of Phase 1 within the next 6 weeks.
Rocket is Spectrum’s first acquisition project in Australia and Gardline CGG is honoured to have been selected as the seismic contractor.
