Tesla Exploration part of Canadian alliance

Tesla Exploration, Calfrac Well Services, NanoSeis LLC, Reservoir Imaging and Silixa Limited have formed a new strategic alliance serving the Canadian oil and gas industry.

Tesla Exploration is a leader in 2D, 3D, 4D and micro-seismic acquisition; Calfrac Well Services in pumping services including unconventional fracturing and well stimulations; NanoSeis in downhole and surface microseismic processing; Reservoir Imaging, in acquiring and processing downhole seismic data in complex situations utilising optimised downhole equipment and processing software; and Silixa in Distributed Acoustic Sensing (iDASTM) and Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS).

The primary aim of the alliance is to be able to provide customers with a more complete integrated solution across all disciplines, offering a more efficient approach for the following:

  • Pre-project planning
  • Field related operations
  • Interpretation services

The alliance will address Life of Field (LOF) issues through the real-time monitoring of hydraulic fracturing, temperature, fluid flow, caprock integrity, and steam chamber growth.
