Springfield E&P announces oil and gas discovery offshore Ghana

As reported by Reuters, Springfield E&P yesterday announced it had discovered 1.5 billion bbl of oil and 0.7 trillion ft³ of gas off the West African country’s Atlantic coast.

Springfield said in a statement that the undiscovered potential of the block located on the western side of the Cape Three Points was estimated at over 3 billion bbl of oil and gas.

TotalEnergies has signed agreements to acquire a 42.5% operated interest in PEL104 Exploration license, located offshore Namibia, from Eight Offshore Investments Holdings (Eight) and Maravilla Oil & Gas.
