Wireless Seismic granted Chinese patent
Wireless Seismic announced it has been issued a Chinese patent by the State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China. This is the first Chinese patent to be granted to Wireless Seismic and adds to its existing portfolio of international patents.
The patent, which was issued earlier in August, relates to seismic exploration systems that facilitate the real-time acquisition of data using wireless communication techniques and describes the serial transfer of data within a wireless system using multiplexing techniques for high speed data read out.
“This is an important step towards the adoption of our revolutionary real-time wireless technology for seismic acquisition and a critical differentiator between our approach and those provided by existing cable-less and nodal systems,” said Roy Kligfield, Wireless Seismic CEO. “Chinese seismic contractors, operating both inside China and internationally are the biggest market for RT System 2 and this is a milestone in our China entry strategy.”
