FMC Technologies becomes a member of NSRI
The National Subsea Research Institute (NSRI) has welcomed FMC Technologies as a new member of the organisation.
Based in Dunfermline, UK, FMC Technologies will bring NSRI’s membership to 22 companies. With plenty of experience in providing solutions specifically to the subsea sector, it will provide the organisation with a depth of knowledge and understanding of the issues facing the industry.
FMC Technologies will join NSRI’s industry steering group, which is responsible for ensuring that the institute focuses on developing those technologies required to maintain the UK subsea sector’s leading position in global markets over the next 20 years.
A partnership between Subsea UK, Newcastle University, the University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University and the University of Dundee, NSRI’s aim is to develop and lead a coordinated research strategy for the subsea sector, developing and maintaining the UK’s position as a centre of excellence for subsea technology and skills.
