Nigeria commences licensing round for 57 oilfields

Nigeria's Department of Petroleum Resources has announced the launch of its 2020 Marginal Field Bid Round.

A total of 57 oilfields, located onshore and in shallow offshore areas are on offer to "indigenous companies and investors interested in participating in Exploration and Production (E&P) business in Nigeria."

The licensing round will be conducted online.
