Union Jack increases interest in the Biscathorpe Prospect

Union Jack, a UK onshore focused hydrocarbon production, development and exploration company have announced that the Company has signed a Farm-in Agreement for a further 10% licence interest in PEDL253 increasing the Company’s economic interest to 22%.

The Petroleum Safety Authority have given Statoil consent to use the Aasta Hansteen spar FPSO, subsea systems and infield pipelines on the Aasta Hansteen field in the Norwegian Sea.

Anglo African Oil & Gas finalises contract with Schlumberger for Tilapia field well

Anglo African Oil & Gas plc, an independent oil and gas developer, announced that Petro Kouilou, its 100% owned subsidiary in the Republic of the Congo, has finalised a contract with leading oil services company Schlumberger Limited to supply support services for the drilling of the new TLP-103 well on its 56% owned Tilapia oil field ('Tilapia') in the prolific Lower Congo Basin.
