Archer Oiltools has launched a new product family “Stronghold” for a series of perforating, washing and cementing systems to deliver faster, safer and more economical solutions for operators worldwide.
Stronghold encompasses modern perforation, wash and cement systems for a permanent annular barrier.
The Stronghold systems consist of:
- Barricade: Archer’s field proven Barricade system perforates, washes, and cements the annulus, creating a rock-to-rock barrier in just one trip.
- Defender: Archer's field proven barrier test system enables operators to perforate and test annular barrier.
- Rampart: Archer’s new ground-breaking cup-less system perforates, cleans, and cements the annulus, creating a rock-to-rock barrier in just one trip.
“The Stronghold systems provide efficient, flexible and reliable alternatives to traditional methods in plug and abandonment, slot recovery and other challenges met by operators in today’s environment,” Archer Oiltools’ Vice President and Managing Director Hugo Idsøe said.
