RiskPoynt reaches oil and gas milestone with over 140 sites in production across five continents

RiskPoynt’s release of version 6 provides new functionality for incident and Operational Risk mitigation management and expanded integration with distributed control systems (DCS), historians, SCADA, ERP and maintenance management. Version 6 allows oil and gas operators to evaluate and test the robustness of control barriers at the equipment level.

RiskPoynt is pioneering the necessary expansion of real-time barrier risk management technology in the global oil and gas industry. Originally developed to meet the exacting regulatory standards of North Sea oil platforms, RiskPoynt customers have since expanded use globally and are starting new markets in other industries, including mining and petrochemicals.

Industry research firm Verdantix recently recognised RiskPoynt as the market leader in risk barrier management, best among all vendors assessed in their Green Quadrant Operational Risk Management Software 2019 report in January 2019.
