ONGC contracts Shelf Drilling rig

Shelf Drilling, Ltd. has received an award for a 3-year contract for the Ron Tappmeyer jack-up rig with Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC) for offshore operations in Indian waters.

The rig is currently under contract with ONGC with a scheduled completion date in 2Q22. The planned start-up of operations under the new contract is 4Q22.
