Lundin receives consent for exploration drilling

Lundin Norway AS (Lundin) is the operator for production licence PL 359 in blocks 16/1 and 16/4 in the central North Sea. The area is around 200km west of Stavanger.
Lundin is to drill appraisal well 16/4-9 S in a prospect named Luno II, to investigate the discovery's potential.
The well's geographical coordinates will be:
- 58o 42' 22.76" N
- 02o 09' 55.07" E
Water depth at the site is 125 metres.
The well will be drilled by Bredford Dolphin, which is a mobile drilling facility of the Aker H-3 type. It was built in 1977 and significantly upgraded in 1999. The facility is registered in Singapore and classified by DNV GL.
Bredford Dolphin was issued with an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) by the PSA in June 2007.
