PSA, which oversees the production sharing agreement for the North Caspian and Karachaganak oil and gas projects in Kazakhstan, will be supporting this year’s SPE Caspian Technical Conference and Exhibition (CTCE), taking place in Astana from 1 - 3 November.
PSA has agreed to be a supporting partner for the event, alongside the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and KAZENERGY. The host organisation this year will be Kazakhstan’s national oil and gas company KazMunaiGas.
The General Director of PSA, Kenzhebek Ibrashev, will make a keynote speech during the Opening Ceremony of CTCE. Attendees at CTCE will have the opportunity to hear from local, regional and international experts on topics relevant to maintaining and boosting technological advancements and developments in the region, as well as networking with peers.
More than 350 oil and gas industry professionals from IOCs, NOCs, government representatives, service companies, academia, NGOs and others are expected to attend and contribute to the event.
SPE will be continuing down the road of a collaborative approach with other oil and gas associations and is being supported by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). It has also renewed its support from local service and supply companies, represented by KAZSERVICE, and the academic community, in the form of the Kazakhstan Association of Petroleum Geologists (APGK).
