Technip has been recognised as industry leader and has received Gold Class distinction for its sustainability performance in the ‘Energy Equipment and Services’ sector according to the 2016 RobecoSAM Sustainability Yearbook. Technip has been listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for the 13th consecutive year. The DJSI represent one of the world’s most recognised sustainability ratings.

Every year since 2004, the Sustainability Yearbook has listed the world’s most sustainable companies in each industry as determined by their score in RobecoSAM’s annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment, which also determines listing in the DJSI. The 2016 Yearbook assesses the performance of 2126 companies in 59 sectors across the globe.

Technip’s strong performance in terms of social and environmental reporting was specifically identified as well as its efforts to embed a sustainable development culture and build solid relationships with its stakeholders.

Thierry Parmentier, Group Human Resources Director at Technip and member of the Executive Committee, commented: “This distinction acknowledges our commitment to creating long-term added value for all our stakeholders. Sustainability at Technip is not a facet of our business but a reflection of the way we conduct our business in line with our core values: doing the right thing, encouraging a fair return from all, trusting the team and building the future”.
