Weatherford changes place of incorporation to Ireland

Following the recent news of the opening of a new integrated laboratory in Colombia, Weatherford has announced that its shareholders have approved changing its place of incorporation from Switzerland to Ireland.

The decision was approved at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held in Zug, Switzerland. As previously disclosed by the SIX Swiss Exchange, trading in the shares of Weatherford on the SIX Swiss Exchange were suspended from and including 17 June.

Depending on the date of the registration of the merger in the commercial register of the Canton of Zug, Switzerland, the effective day of delisting of the Shares will be 19 June 2014.
