Tethys’ share of the production, before government take, from Blocks 3 and 4 onshore the Sultanate of Oman amounted in April 2016 to 374 122 bbls, corresponding to 12 471 bpd. The production in April was to small degree affected by planned maintenance work on the Saiwan East field. Maintenance work is planned to be carried out on the Shahd field in May, which is expected to have a limited effect on the production.
Tethys Oil AB, through its wholly owned subsidiary Tethys Oil Block 3 and 4 Ltd, has a 30% interest in Blocks 3 and 4. Partners are Mitsui E&P Middle East B.V. with 20% and the operator CC Energy Development S.A.L. (Oman branch) holding the remaining 50%.
