ELS files for non FTA export license

Excelerate Liquefaction Solutions I, LLC (ELS) has filed for long-term authorization to export domestically produced LNG from the terminal it intends to construct, own, and operate in Calhoun County, Texas, to any nation with which the United States does not have a free trade agreement. 

 

ELS is planning to export up to 10 million tpy of LNG (equivalent to approximately 1.33 billion ft3 of natural gas per day or approximately 502 million MMBtu per year) over a 20-year period.
