The renewal covers the period from August 2014 to July 2016 and is worth around €250 million for both years. The contract covers platforms in the Snorre, Oseberg, Heimdal, Huldra and Veslefrikk oil and gas fields off the southwestern coast of Norway as well as onshore facilities north of Bergen near Sture and Kollsnes.

“This is a day of joy for Bilfinger Industrier Norge as the renewal confirms Statoil’s trust in us,” says Bjørn Harald Celius, the company’s CEO.
