Well Control School (WCS) has announced the launch of its new introductory level System 21 e-learning course for drilling operations. The System 21 e-Learning Drilling Operations course is now available for IADC WellSharp™ and The Well Control School certifications.
The course includes workshops, simulation exercises, chapter and lesson quizzes to provide basic well control training. It is designed for drilling and well servicing personnel, consultants, asset managers, engineers and well-site personnel.
Participants who successfully complete and pass the course will receive The Well Control School and IADC WellSharp Introductory Level certifications along with 1.8 continuing education units (CEU).
“Well Control School is one of the first commercial training providers to offer the newly developed IADC WellSharp curriculum in the e-learning format,” said Ed Geissler, President of Well Control School. “The e-learning model is a proven training method that offers tremendous benefits to oil and gas companies. Traditionally, students experience better retention with e-learning services because they are learning at their individual pace.”
