Subsea 7 awarded SURF contract for Jette field
Subsea 7 S.A. has been awarded a SURF contract valued at approximately US$ 60 million from Det norske oljeselsakp ASA, for tie-back of two satellite wells in the Jette field to the Jotun B platform.
The contract is for the engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation of a 6 km flexible flowline and jumpers and the installation of a 6 km integrated services umbilical, X-mas trees and protection structures and diver assisted tie-ins. Engineering will commence immediately with offshore operations in Autumn 2012.
Stuart Fitzgerald, Vice President, Norway, said, “We are very pleased to have been awarded this contract from Det norske for their first field development.”
