LUX Assure to present session

LUX Assure are set to present at the inaugural NACE UAE Corrosion Conference in Abu Dhabi from 12-14 May.

LUX Assure’s product line manager, Melanie Reid, will present in the ‘Corrosion Control Chemicals’ session, discussing the advantages of using CoMic™ technology to determine the critical micelle concentration of corrosion inhibitors, as part of a proactive corrosion management programme.

The presentation will focus on LUX Assure’s work in the Middle East and incorporate regional case studies, highlighting the positive effect corrosion inhibitor monitoring is making in the field. The presentation will also touch upon the Goldilocks Principle; too much inhibitor is costly and may cause upset to the production system, whilst too little increases the risk of corrosive attack. The ‘just right’ amount is key.

The 2015 NACE UAE Corrosion Conference will be taking place from the 12-14 May, hosted at the St. Regis Hotel, Abu Dhabi.

The event aims to identify corrosion issues and challenges faced daily by industries in the Middle East. The conference will see leading corrosion professionals from around the world address solutions and join together with attendees to discuss preventative actions and resources.
