3sun Group launches recruitment drive

3sun Group has launched a recruitment drive from its Danish entity, as part of the group’s strategy to increase its international footprint.

Esbjerg, Denmark

Since establishing itself in the D.Lauritzens Vej harbour area of Esbjerg in 2013, the expansion has allowed the group to enhance its operations for local client support, whilst also offering its range of products services and engineering capabilities to a wider range of companies within the European market.

Commenting on the evolution of 3sun Group, CEO Graham Hacon, said: “As we continue to grow globally, it is important that we remain strategically placed within the European market. Our premises in Esbjerg allow us to advance our strategic growth plans through investment in people, ensuring we continue to exceed our customers’ expectations and meet the demand for services in the region.”

New recruitment process

Due to significant growth and high client demand over the past twelve months, the Group has initiated a recruitment process for highly skilled technicians, who will support both wind and oil and gas projects, with installation and inspection services.

Graham Hacon adds: “In order to further develop our presence in Denmark, we are committed to employing and developing a local workforce. Our experienced technician base deliver the best possible service for clients and we are excited to extend this in the region, whilst also offering our specialist technical knowledge across an international platform.”

Solving engineering challenges

Since inception in 2007, 3sun Group has grown rapidly to now employ over 300 people across five divisions, and has earned a global reputation for resolving some of the key energy engineering challenges facing the energy sector. The European growth concludes a successful year for the group, including major contract wins with MHI Vestas and Siemens, and a £10 million investment from the Business Growth Fund.
