Sercel-GRC appoints China sales and support manager

With a degree in petroleum engineering from the Southwest Petroleum University in Chengdu, China, Hu will be based in Tianjin, China, and will be responsible for managing and growing relationships in the region, while assuring satisfaction for Sercel-GRC’s Asian client base.
Hu previously served in a variety of technical support and operational supervisory roles both within China and globally, for companies including GE, Baker Hughes and Zenith Oilfield Technology.
President of Sercel-GRC, Bud Missel, commented: “Song will be responsible for strengthening our position as the largest independent manufacturer of sensors in the world. He has more than 15 years of experience in the upstream oil & gas ESP gauge service industry and is highly skilled in sales, marketing and technical support in addition to his engineering background. We are confident he will deliver a high level of customer service satisfaction to our clients in China.”
