The drilling programme for wells 35/10-7 S and A relates to the drilling of a wildcat well and an appraisal well.

The study will involve the acquisition, analysis and interpretation of seabed sediment samples and heat flow measurements to help assess the region’s resource potential.

The work, which is being managed out of Ardyne’s Aberdeen headquarters, has commenced and is expected to last up to four years across two assets in the North Sea.

Work has already begun on the first platform, which will be engineered for a 20-year production life in approximately 75 m of water.

Chariot will use the Stena Don rig for the planned Anchois gas appraisal well.

The Sasanof-1 exploration well is in WA-519-P in Commonwealth waters about 207 km northwest of Onslow, Western Australia, and is scheduled to drill in 1Q22.

Preliminary results indicate that the Hibiscus North field could be incorporated into future development planning with a possible tie back to the Hibiscus Ruche development but with reserves below the lower end of the pre-drill resource estimate of potential 10 to 40 million barrels of oil.

Resources for the Bergknapp oil discovery are estimated at 40 - 84 million boe after appraisal.

Bourbon will support exploration campaigns offshore Namibia and Sao Tomé.
