The work is for the Azeri Central East project in the Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli field in the Caspian Sea.

The company has agreed to sell its 5.0304% interest in the Nyhamna terminal to CapeOmega and its 13.2550% interest in the Polarled pipeline to Solveig Gas Norway.

Valaris will provide the Rowan Gorilla VI (VALARIS JU-248) to drill four firm wells for the development, which is located in the Central North Sea.

Services to be provided will include data acquisition utilising remote operated vehicle (ROV)-deployed autonomous nodal recording technology in water depths up to 60 m.

Santos will operate the new permit, WA-541-P, in the Northern Carnarvon Basin which lies to the west of the recent Dorado, Roc and Phoenix South hydrocarbon discoveries in the Bedout Sub-basin.

The well was delivered to ADNOC Drilling’s client, ADNOC Offshore – also a subsidiary of ADNOC.

The contract is the largest in Global E&C's history.

The Balder X Project will extend the life of the Jotun A FPSO towards 2045 through refurbishing it and relocating it to the Balder licence PL 001, the first production license on the Norwegian continental shelf.
