The Campos Deepwater GeoStreamer X project will deliver long offset, multi-azimuth seismic data over the deepwater portion of the northern Campos Basin.

The contract is significant for the offshore Brazilian oil and gas industry, which typically uses thermoplastic hose umbilicals.

Drilling at the BMK-1 well has encountered commercial quantities of gas in both target horizons.

The contract has an estimated duration of 21 days and is expected to commence in March 2020, in direct continuation of the rig’s current contract.

An Ampelmann E-type system was mobilised on the Normand Installer vessel, to allow personnel to easily access the Liza Destiny FPSO.

The onshore acquisition currently produces at a rate of approximately 700 bpd, generating gross annual revenues of approximately US$15 million.
