Subsea 7 announced the award of a sizeable engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning contract by Burullus Gas Company for the West Delta Deep Marine Phase 9b development project, offshore Egypt. 

Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M) has, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Keppel FELS Ltd (Keppel FELS), delivered the state-of-the-art jackup rig, SKALD, to Borr Skald Inc, a subsidiary of Borr Drilling Limited (Borr Drilling) safely, on time and on budget.

Echo Energy plc, the Latin American focused upstream oil and gas company, has announced the commencement of drilling of the third exploration well in a four well back-to-back campaign in the Company's Fracción C and Laguna de Los Capones assets, onshore Argentina in Joint Venture between Echo and its Argentine partner Compan~i´a General de Combustibles S.A. ("CGC").

Petrofac has secured a two-year contract extension on Eni UK Limited’s Liverpool Bay Development, valued in the region of US$65 million.

Well CSo-85, in the Cañadon Salto field in Argentina, underwent an extended well test period which included 16 days of stabilised gas production at a variety of choke sizes from 6 to 14 mm, achieving a maximum rate of 2.5 million ft3/d at a tubing head pressure of 432 psi.

With first oil scheduled for 2022, the Johan Castberg field in the Barents Sea has a production horizon of 30 years.

The two companies have signed a contract worth more than US$10 million a year until 2024.
