Rovco has expanded its international reach after forming a local partnership with Drexel Marine Petroleum Services in Egypt.

The Malaysian oil and gas services company declared net profits of US$123.01 million for the quarter ended 31 January 2019.

The consortium of Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd and Indian Oil Corp. Ltd. will hold a 100% stake in the exploration phase to explore for and appraise oil and gas opportunities.

The company has announced that Rathlin Energy (UK) Limited has signed a rig contract for the drilling of the West Newton appraisal well, expected to spud in April 2019.

These contracts, with a combined value of approximately US$54M, are for drilling operations in the Middle East, Russia, Europe and Africa.

Operations have paused due to severe weather conditions related to tropical cyclone Veronica.

The Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) has launched what is believed to be one of the largest ever single open releases of data with the launch of the UK’s first UK Oil and Gas National Data Repository (NDR).

Oil & Gas UK published its annual Business Outlook review and presented its findings in both London and Aberdeen on 20 March. Westwood’s Technical Manager, Alyson Harding, comments.

This contract covers five deepwater wells, and their 50 km tie back to the existing Jangkrik Floating Production Unit in Indonesia.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals, including approval by the U.S. antitrust authorities, and other customary conditions.
