Cairenn is the first of a series of multi-client surveys that CGG has recently been acquiring in the area. PSDM products for its Galway survey will be delivered before the end of the year.

The expanded programme will be approximately 9000 km and is the only modern data available offshore Panama.

The inaugural TopSeis survey was commissioned by Lundin Norway AS over the Loppa High in the Barents Sea and is designed to better image a complex carbonate reservoir located at depths of between 400 to 2000 m below the seabed.

Paradigm will introduce its production management solution and showcase its high-definition workflows for reservoir characterisation, modelling and production engineering, at the 2017 SPE ATCE.

The Essen-based exploration and engineering company DMT was contracted by the Canadian oil and gas producer, Vermilion Energy Inc. to carry out a seismic exploration survey in the Netherlands. The field work is now underway.

CGG has been present in Brazil for over 55 years, since the company began working with Petrobras in 1961. Its long-established Rio de Janeiro Subsurface Imaging Center, with its strong reservoir characterisation group, has the largest computer capacity and greatest expertise in the region.

CGG has announced the start of acquisition of its first complementary wide-azimuth (CWAz) survey, known as AC CWAz, a BroadSeis™ 3D multi-client programme in southern Alaminos Canyon, Gulf of Mexico.

The associated prospects are located in two promising plays and areas of the GoM: Wilcox in Central GoM next to the Anchor discovery, and Norphlet in Eastern GoM nearby to the Appomattox discovery.

As a result of this agreement, CGG will shortly commence acquisition of a new multi-client survey of up to 40 000 km2 of 3D data over the Beira High in the Zambezi Delta.

CGG has announced the start of work on Espirito Santo IV, a large BroadSeis™ 3D multi-client survey in the deep and ultra-deep waters of the Espirito Santo Basin offshore Brazil.
