Borders & Southern, the London based independent oil and gas exploration company with assets offshore the Falkland Islands, announces the results of an independent evaluation of the Darwin East discovery and the adjacent Darwin West untested fault block.

SeaBird Exploration has announced that it has signed an agreement to provide a source vessel for an upcoming survey in West Africa.  The project is anticipated to commence during Q1 and will have a duration of approximately 60 days. SeaBird will be using the Osprey Explorer for the project.

Recent developments bring new capabilities within each individual solution while offering increasingly integrated workflows from geology and geophysics to reservoir engineering.

Project Icewine Operations Update 3D seismic acquisition has commenced across the Western Margin of the Project Icewine acreage, located on the North Slope of Alaska. The 3D seismic will firm up drilling candidates identified on conventional prospectivity from interpretation of ~2350 line km of modern (88E, 2016) and reprocessed 2D seismic data.

Carnarvon aims to mature the identified leads to prospects within the block, with a number of geoscience work-flows as part of the work programme, including a satellite seep survey, petrophysical reviews, burial modelling, fault seal analysis, rock physics analysis and seismic inversion of the Cygnus MC3D.

The release of Searcher’s technical dataset comes in preparation for the highly-anticipated Argentina Offshore Bidding Round 1, which is expected to be announced later this year.

Rose Petroleum plc has now completed the initial structural interpretation of the 3D seismic data it acquired over its Gunnison Valley Unit which is part of its larger lease holding in the Paradox Basin, Utah, USA.
