This contract award builds on Jacobs momentum of securing several significant maintenance and turnarounds contracts in North America this past year.

The four-year contract is valued at about NOK 800 million and includes an option for a one year extension.

AVEVA has acquired the intellectual property rights to the engineering design database and design productivity software known as EDD and PDMSi, developed by Shell International Exploration and Production Inc., a member of the Royal Dutch Shell plc group.

The new company will deliver advanced production technologies and expertise to the global oil and gas industry, offering products and systems which are highly differentiated, low risk and significantly enhance well performance.

Effective immediately, the contract is for two years with three one-year extension options, and includes the provision of rigging and scaffolding services on the facility, currently operating in the Pierce field.
