The EPF, a key component in enabling Block Energy to process and sell gas from its West Rustavi field in Georgia, has arrived onsite from Canada.

The company is selling its entire stake in the Atum, Curimã, Espada and Xaréu shallow-water oilfields.

Upstream and midstream activity for the company was down by 5% in 1H20, compared to a 4% increase in renewables activity during the same period.

The pre-defined areas include blocks in the North Sea, Norwegian Sea and Barents Sea.

The work centres on NEO Energy’s Babbage platform, which is located in block 48/2a of the UK SNS and includes five gas production wells and one suspended well.

Norway, which is not part of the OPEC+ group, has said it would cut its oil production by 250 000 bpd in June and by 134 000 bpd in 2H20.

The contract will encompass Altrad mobilising resources to Ravenna in Italy for the construction phase of the project, which will be followed by the hook-up and commissioning phase located offshore in the Southern North Sea.
