ABB and ODS partnership to enable custody transfer

ABB has announced a partnership with ODS Metering Systems, an independent manufacturer of custody transfer flow measurement solutions, that will see ABB’s Flow-X computers support an increasing number of oil and gas customers with an automation platform for custody transfer.

 

Jadestone Energy’s Akatara project reaches 70% completion

The Akatara development project is now 70% complete, delivering on the end-September 2023 progress target of 65%. Long-lead time items continue to arrive at site on schedule and the project remains on track for commissioning in 1Q24 and first gas before mid 2024.

ADNOC Gas awards contract for MENA carbon capture project

The company has awarded a US$615 million (AED 2.26 billion) engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to Petrofac Emirates for constructing carbon capture units, pipeline infrastructure and a network of wells for carbon dioxide injection at the Habshan gas processing plant.
