UK OGA awards 25 licences in 29th Offshore Licensing Round

The Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) has offered for award 25 licences for 111 blocks or part blocks to 17 companies in the 29th Offshore Licensing Award to enable further exploration and production across frontier areas of the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS).

 
 
 
 
 
 

BP pilots new R2S visualisation technology

The Aberdeen-based visual asset management (VAM) specialist Return To Scene Limited, part of James Fisher and Sons plc, is conducting a pilot project for BP utilising the latest generation of its R2S Mosaic technology.

 
 

Keppel signs Heads of Agreement with Borr Drilling for Transocean rigs

Keppel FELS Limited has entered into an agreement with Borr Drilling Limited of Bermuda, with the approval of Transocean, whereby the construction contracts for the five jackup rigs currently being built by Keppel FELS for Transocean will be novated to Borr Drilling.

 

TechnipFMC awarded an onshore contract in Ghana

TechnipFMC has been awarded a contract by ENI Ghana E&P Limited (a subsidiary of ENI, GNPC and Vitol), for the onshore part of the OCTP development of the Sankofa field, offshore Ghana.
