Oil & Gas UK published its annual Business Outlook review and presented its findings in both London and Aberdeen on 20 March. Westwood’s Technical Manager, Alyson Harding, comments.

The two final platform topsides were installed using the heavy lift vessel Pioneering Spirit’s single lift technology.

The company has announced that drilling operations have commenced on well 20/05b-14 on UK Seaward Licence P2170, Blocks 20/5b & 21/1d using the semi-submersible rig West Phoenix.

The company has, together with partners Petoro, ConocoPhillips and Repsol, made an oil discovery from the Visund A platform in the Telesto exploration well in the North Sea.
