Gullfaks is a prime example of the best that this industry has achieved in Norway.

Troll B has produced 1 billion bbls of oil equivalent since it came on stream on 19 September 1995. Troll B and C combined have been the largest oil producer on the Norwegian continental shelf for the last three years.

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has granted Statoil Petroleum AS a drilling permit for well 16/2-22 S, cf. Section 8 of the Resource Management Regulations.

The contract, managed out of Aberdeen, covers the provision of marine warranty and assurance services in support of ENGIE’s operations across the UKCS.

The strategic partnership with Centrica will allow the companies to work closely together in optimising the Oda field project.

International engineering and operations support services contractor ODE, a part of the DORIS Group, was recently named as a key contributor to a new industry working group.

Industry body Subsea UK has today (Wednesday 14th December) announced the finalists who are in the running to triumph at its 2017 business awards.

The agreement will see the company acquire a 50% operated interest in UKCS Licence P.2243 from Zennor North Sea.

The appointment remains subject to the approval of the Oil and Gas Authority.
