Production from the Peshkabir field in the Tawke licence in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq has tripled to 15 000 bpd following completion of the Peshkabir-3 well testing, stimulation and clean-up programme.

Blocks C22, C17 and C14 are located an average of 124 miles, or 200 km, offshore Mauritania. Together they measure nearly 8.4 million acres in water depths ranging from 3300 ft to 11 500 ft, or 1000 m to more than 3500 m.
