SDX Energy's KSS-2 well in the Sebou permit disappoints

SDX Energy Inc., the North Africa focused oil and gas company, announces that the KSS-2 well on the Sebou permit in Morocco was drilled to a total depth of 1293 m encountering 8 m of high quality reservoir interval in the Gaddari and Guebbas sequences with an average porosity of 30%.

 
 

Po Valley Energy declares 2P Reserves for its offshore Adriatic development Teodorico gas field

Po Valley Energy Limited has reported an upgrade of its oil and gas reserves and resources for its 100% owned subsidiary Po Valley Operations Pty Ltd (PVO) as part of the release of an extensive Competent Persons Report (CPR) prepared on PVO, Po Valleys 50% owned Saffron Energy Plc (Saffron) and Appenine Energy. The CPR has been lodged in full with the ASX in conjunction with this release.

 
 
 
 

Frontera Resources: T-45 update

T-45, the first well of current three well drilling programme at the Taribani Complex of Block 12 in Georgia, has now been drilled to a target depth of 2700 m, in the Eldari Formation.

 
 

Aker BP announce exploration success in PL340 near Alvheim

Aker BP is about to complete drilling of the Frosk exploration well 24/9-12 located near Alvheim in the North Sea. The well has proved oil. Preliminary analysis indicate a discovery size of 30 - 60 million boe, which is significantly more than the company’s pre-drill estimates of 3 - 21 million boe.

 

ADNOC signs new offshore concession agreement with Cepsa

On behalf of the Abu Dhabi Government, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) signed an agreement with Cepsa, a Spanish integrated oil and gas company, awarding it a 20% stake in Abu Dhabi’s offshore SARB and Umm Lulu concession.
