EM&I completes purchase of Stantec

EM&I has announced that it has now completed the purchase of Stantec's shares in the EM&I Stantec Ltd. joint venture, and that EM&I (Canada) Ltd. (formerly EM&I Stantec Ltd.) is now a wholly owned member of the EM&I Group.

This acquisition is strategically important to EM&I's growth plans, and increases the worldwide capacity and capabilities of the organisation, while providing additional security and opportunities for the team.

Pat Lawless will be the President of EM&I (Canada) Ltd. with Mark Wilson (RGM North America) acting as Vice President.

Pat Lawless commented: "I welcome our Canadian colleagues into the EM&I family and look forward to working with them to expand the business within and outside Canada."
