Glamox awarded long-term contract with Aker BP

Glamox has announced the signing of a framework agreement with the Norwegian oil company Aker BP.
The contract includes design, manufacturing and supply of LED lighting systems to future Aker BPs projects; both new development projects and modification projects of existing installations.
Aker BP has taken the lead in the digitalisation of the oil and gas industry, developing and utilising new technology and solutions are key success factors for Aker BP.
Senior Vice President in Glamox, Frode Scott Nilsen says, “The future of offshore lighting is rapidly changing. Innovative LED technology and light management systems secure energy efficient and sustainable solutions. Glamox is proud to be partnering with one of the most innovative and largest independent oil companies in Europe.”
The duration of the Frame Agreement is six plus four years.
