Sercel releases wireless nodal acquisition system

CGG has announced that Sercel has launched WiNG, a fully integrated wireless nodal acquisition system that combines optimum field operational efficiency with the highest level of data quality available to support the precise imaging needs of the land seismic industry.

Leveraging QuietSeis^®, Sercel’s broadband digital sensor, WiNG is the next-generation land nodal system of choice for data acquisition companies looking to achieve the most efficient and productive seismic surveys.

Viridien and TGS commence Phase III of next-generation Laconia sparse OBN program in US Gulf

Supported by industry funding, Laconia Phase III, covering approximately 150 OCS blocks in the Keathley Canyon protraction areas, will be acquired by TGS and imaged by Viridien to target prospective but difficult-to-image subsalt reservoirs.
