Bright Automation has announced the release of its new integrated wireless load cell/accelerometer.
Designed for all artificial lift applications involving rod pumps, this unique device accurately measures both load and position in a single wireless unit. Based on its wireless design, this device is not prone to the downtime associated with cable failure or related issues, eliminating the maintenance costs associated with the repair or replacement of cables. With no cables to manage, this integrated unit is fast and easy to install. Solar powered with battery backup, the Integrated Wireless Load Cell/Accelerometer transmits data via 2.4 GHz digital channel.

In the oil and gas sector, the management of hydrogen sulphide (H2S) is a perpetual balancing act. For years, MEA-triazine has been the industry workhorse – efficient, cost-effective, and generally well-understood. However, as operators push for greater efficiency and contend with varying production environments, the chemical landscape has shifted. The reliance on standard MEA-triazine has evolved into a more complex mix of chemistries, including methylamine (MMA-triazine) and monoisopropanolamine (MBO) formulations.
