Neptune Energy and EDF complete methane study on UK offshore platform

Fixed wing and rotary drones equipped with methane-sensing equipment were deployed for the study on the Neptune-operated Cygnus gas production facility in the UK Southern North Sea, which assessed advanced methods for identifying and quantifying facility-level offshore methane emissions, and actions to reduce them.

 
 
 

Equinor finds oil in Norwegian North Sea

Preliminary estimates show that between 3 and 10 million standard cubic meters of recoverable oil equivalents have been proven in in exploration well 6407 / 1-9 - Egyptian Vulture, corresponding to 19-62 million barrels.

Equinor’s preliminary estimate of recoverable resources in the Egyptian Vulture discovery is 19 to 63 million boe (gross) and the oil-in-place volume has been estimated at 220 to 440 million boe (gross).
