FairfieldNodal will launch its inaugural ZXPLR survey in the Gulf of Mexico, October 2017, ushering in a new era of operational excellence for the company.

The substantial contract was awarded to Subsea Integration Alliance, which is a partnership between Subsea 7 and OneSubsea, a Schlumberger company.

The well will be drilled from the Songa Enabler drilling facility, at position 61°25’20.34? N and 3°49’39.73? E after completing the drilling of wildcat well 7317/9-1 for Statoil Petroleum AS in production licence 718.

The FPSO was completed safely, on time and within budget, and departed the shipyard recently for the Bananal Bay in Brazil.

The company's subsidiary, Lundin Norway AS, completed drilling of exploration well 7220/6-3 on the Børselv prospect in PL609 on the Loppa High in the southern Barents Sea. The well was dry.

The expanded programme will be approximately 9000 km and is the only modern data available offshore Panama.
