THREE60 Energy has secured two engineering and construction contracts with global offshore floating energy solutions provider, BW Offshore.

The smart network and digital solutions company, has upgraded the smart hybrid VSAT installation on the seismic research vessel Ramform Hyperion to provide an uplink speed of more than 250 megabits per second (Mbps) using GEO VSAT.

The project will focus on the development of extended reach needles; small diameter laterals that penetrate the reservoir to increase hydrocarbon recovery.
