BP and Enpro Subsea have announces the execution of a global frame agreement aimed at providing an enhanced subsea architecture and smart standardisation using Enpro’s patented Flow Access Module (FAM) technology.

 
 

Byron Energy completes SM58 acquisition

Magma and Shawcor collaborate to offer standardised insulated m-pipe

Magma sought to further improve the thermal insulation properties of m-pipe in order to maintain flow temperature for a number of current projects. Shawcor’s Thermotite® ULTRA™ was identified as having the required thermal insulation to achieve this.

 
 

Equinor: Gullfaks C can be used until 2036

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate is giving a green light to using the C platform on the Gullfaks field in the North Sea until 30 June 2036.

 
 

Rystad Energy forecasts a boom in Xmas trees

After activity levels fell to only 240 subsea trees installed globally in 2017 – the lowest level since the turn of the century – Rystad Energy forecasts that over 350 subsea trees will be installed per year by 2021.
