Maersk Supply Service vessel to support Pemex operations

The Maersk Installer will join the Maersk Implementer in the Bay of Campeche, performing general support duties, well stimulation as well as inspection, maintenance and repair for Pemex’s platforms.

 
 
 
 

Norway government reports on status of major projects

Thirteen of the projects reported on are being developed by Equinor. Eight of the company's projects have reduced costs since submitting their plans for development and operation, one project remains unchanged, while four projects have reported higher costs.

The settlement is in relation to engineering, procurement and construction contracts for the construction of six semi-submersible drilling rigs for subsidiaries of Sete Brasil.

Production begins at Johan Sverdrup

Johan Sverdrup has expected recoverable reserves of 2.7 billion boe and the full field can produce up to 660 000 bpd at peak.

 
 
 

Hibiscus reserve estimates increased

Preliminary evaluation of the Hibiscus Updip prospect in the Dussafu licence offshore Gabon indicates gross recoverable reserves of 40 to 50 million bbl of oil, significantly greater than the pre-drill expectations.
