DNO ASA, the Norwegian oil and gas operator, has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary DNO North Sea (UK) Limited has been awarded a 50 % operated interest in Blocks 9/9f, 9/10c, 9/14c and 9/15d in United Kingdom’s 33rd offshore licensing round. Aker BP will hold the remaining 50 % in the licensed area.
The company has launched a programme for operators and integrated service providers beginning to plan their well abandonment operations.
TGS, in partnership with SLB and Petrobangla, completed the first phase of a 2D seismic acquisition programme in April 2023.
