The Port of Cromarty Firth has become the first port to apply to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for decommissioning permits under the updated regulations. This is part of their final preparations to attract these projects and the associated jobs to the area.

Polarcus Limited has announced that it has received an award for a 3D project offshore West Africa, to commence early in Q4 2017 with a scheduled duration of one month.
GE Oil & Gas has signed a long-term agreement to collaborate with EEA, on the offshore Mozambique developments it operates. The move underlines GE Oil & Gas’s commitment to expand its global footprint while supporting local investment in Africa.
Statoil has, on behalf of the licence partners, decided that the Johan Castberg operation will be supported by a supply and helicopter base in Hammerfest and an operations organisation in Harstad.
